What Causes Blurred Vision And Increased Heart Rate?

I just experienced blurred vision in my left eye. Then I checked my heart rate and it was at 105. I m sitting down and just in a relaxed State. What would have caused me to have blurred vision in my left eye and my heart rate to raise at a relaxed state? This has happened for the last two days and it only lasts a few minutes.

Hi,

As per your query about having blurred vision and increased heart rate for a short period can be due to many causes like smoking, alcohol abuse, high BP, any heart anomaly, or hyperthyroidism. I suggest you to go for test like ECHO and ECG first by consulting a physician and then also get your blood test for hemoglobin and thyroid function test to rule out thyroid hormone imbalance.

I also suggest you to quit if any habit of smoking or drug addiction is there as it can be a side effect of drug or medications.

I hope this information helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Jyoti Pandey
