What Causes Blurred Vision After A Root Canal Procedure?

My boyfriend has had a toothache in a tooth that has already had a root canal for going on two weeks now. Today he suddenly lost vision in one eye and both eyes were tearing up, it went away after he took a nap but he still has some blurred vision in the bottom corner of his eye. Could these be related? Is this something he should seek medical attention for right away?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that he has some problem associated with his eye as the symptoms of tearing in eyes and loss of vision are not probably caused due to tooth related infection or treatment..

You should consult an Opthalmologist and get evaluated and proper investigations like retinoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

Secondly you should get the Root Canal treatment completed soon to save the tooth and prevent complications like pain and re infection in tooth..

Hope this helps..

Regards
