Dear sir i can understand your concern i am very sorry about condition of your mother in my opinion the most common cause for microscopic haematuria are 1.contamination of sample with menstrual blood. 2.renal stones 3.urethritis in infections like schistosoma haematobium and tuberculosis of bladder. once benign conditions are ruled out its highly advisable to check for any signs of malignancy.
