What Causes Bloody Stool?

my fiancee was at work and when he went to the bathroom he had a bloody stool and the water in the toilet was red, he said that it hurts when he wipes and a little itchy. He has been drinking beer and a little alcohol for the past couple of weeks. Can this be hemorrhoids or something more serious?

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for asking a question
your query being appreciated, yes it could be either hemorrhoid or anal fissures these are the pretty common condition seen, apart from this it could be due to the diet taken and it may not be blood it self, if not happening again, hemorrhoid and fissure will continue to bleed from the lesion when ever defecation is there, the only best option is the clinical examination that will confirmed the condition hope this information helps.
