What Causes Blood In Vomit When Diagnosed With Stomach Ulcer?

FOR LAST FEW DAYS I AM SUFFERING FROM ABDOMINAL PAIN AND HEARBURN AND ACID REFLUX, ENDOSCY WAS DONE AND MILD ULCER FOUND , MY PHYSICIAN SAID NOTHING TO WORIED,BUT WHEN I VOMITE SOME TIME 1 TO 2 DROPS OF BLOOD COME OUT, NOW I AM TAKING SUCRAL ,ESOZ40 AND LIBRX, IS IT ANY THING SERIOUS

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The reason why you could be vomiting few drops of blood in vomitus is due to gastric mucosal erosion or bleeding peptic ulcer.
However, you have been already given appropriate medications to treat the condition and hence you need not worry about it at this stage.
However, once your treatment regime is complete, you should be relieved of such symptoms.
In case the symptoms recurs, you need to have an upper GI endoscopy done and get tested for H.pylori infection. Accordingly, you need to take the treatment again thereafter. Kindly consult Physician in this regard for appropriate management.
