What Causes Blood In Urine?

I was passing blood in my urine this evening and have been to the emergency room and am now back - oddly enough a lot of back pain I have had for a while has gone away -it this psycosomatic or is this something that is possible? The pain centered on the iliac crest

Hi, I think you should get a urine routine and microscopy and culture done to see if there is any infection. Also get a ultrasound done to see the kidneys, greater and bladder to rule out any other problem. It can be due to various reasons. Consult a urologist for complete evaluation. Hope it helps.
