What Causes Blood In Urine Post Urology Scope Insertion?

I was going to have Prostiva RF Monday. The urologist insert the prostiva scope but had to back out because it was causing too much pain. Before the procedure I had never experienced any blood in my urine. After the scope I did notice blood in the urine it stop for a couple of days now its Saturday and blood showed up again in my urine this time is seems more bright red especially after bowel movement straining. I called the Doctor and he put me on Cipro twice daily said I may have an infection . Is this normal for this to occur. I am scheduled for turp March 3.

HI
Well come to HCM
Because of the trauma during the procedure such symptom of hematuria could be possible if the trauma is little one then this would be fine soon and doctor would take care of this, in surgical procedure such incidence could be part of this, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
