What Causes Blood In Stools?

I have noticed blood on my stool but I also notice holes or air pockets in my stool as well. My stools also change consistency frequently along with the diameter. Any help would be greatful. Both my children have FAP and have had colectomies. And no they are not twins they are 19mths apart. My dads side of the family does have leukemia and lymphoma.

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
For treatment and diagnosis you should consult the gastroenetrologist.
Do not avoid problem.
Following are the causes of your problem:
Anal fissure/piles
Polyp/cancer
Colitis: IBD
Diverticulosis
Ulcer in stomach
GERD
Esophageal disease.

You should go under following investigation:
Blood: CBC,ESR
Colonoscopy/Sigmoidoscopy
Abdominal USG
Stool routine and microscopy
Barium study.

So consult the doctor and start the treatment depends on diagnosis
