What Causes Blood In Stool?

Hi,
I am 24 yrs old. Height 5 foot 11 inches. Weight 75 kgs.
There was bright red blood in my stool - It happened twice, today and some 15 days before. I don't feel any pain.
I eat spicy food. Smoke 3 cigarettes a day and usually drink once or twice a week. Please help..

External or internal hemorrhiods.
Painless bright red bleeding mostly after stool is due to hemorrhiods.
its may be internal or external.
colorectal cancer has mostly in old age with complaints of malena or loose wieght.
Fresh bleeding and black terry colour stools are different presentation.
Its diagnosed after proctoscopy.
Band ligation is the treatment.
