General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. There are two possibilities in your case. - recurrence of the bleeding from pregnancy- it can be confirmed /excluded by an internal examination by a gynecologist/USG abdomen. In case it is confirmed, you need to start medicines to save pregnancy urgently.with bed rest/hormones/drugs to stop bleeding are usually given as per need. - As you say, you had constipation 4-6 days So the hard stool might have injured inner line of rectum( which is more vascular in pregnancy)creating piles like condition. In pregnancy, blood loss from any site is undesirable. So you have to rush to a surgeon ,Seek his advise to control the bleeding.Usually stool smoothers, medicines to stop bleeding & forming collaterals are given. Thanks
