What Causes Blood In Stool Along With Persistent Cold And Cough?

I have had what a thought was a cold for about 4 weeks. I do not seem to get better. I am very healthy and am 69 years old. I have a cough and have had some mucus, but not lots. I feel week and am hoarse. I just recently started having blood in my stool. I just started and I noticed it when I had mucus and blood in my underpants. I plan on going to the doctor tomorrow, but all the cold remedies have not worked. Cold EZ and Niquol.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the viral infection or allergic condition then it may not needs any specific treatment, it is the self limiting condition, mucus in stool could be protozoa infection but it needs to be ruled out, or it can be tried with Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for 5 days and hope this information helps.
