What Causes Blood In Stool After Rib Injury?
I had a nasty trauma to my ribs 2 days ago. I was checked out by hospital and x rayed and found to be fine. No blood in urine but have had a bowel movement for first time in 2 days and there is bright red blood in it. I am only in pain with my ribs when I move a certain way or cough. Should I be worried?

It could be from hemorrhoids but it could be a signal of inflammatory bowel disease or a colon polyp
