What Causes Blood In Saliva?

I am 27y/o guy. Recently I have been spitting blood.it usually happens in a fixed way.I smoke, i empty my bowels and then masturbate. The moment i come out and spit its blood and not just little bit, 70% blood and 30% saliva. Ratio changes after spitting few times.Habbits: 6-10 ciggs a day.Used to smoke pot almost daily for a year or over that. Rarely drink.I understand the life style i have would lead to some problem, but damage has been done. I will be consulting a doctor soonbut would like some inputs to geta rough idea what exactly is happening.Lean body, weight under 50kg

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern, bleeding while spit.

As per your history it seems to me the bleeding is from your gums.

Gingivitis or periodontitis are most important causes in smoking guys.

Check you blood where from it comes.
If it is post coughing it is from lungs or respiratory tract.

If you vomit it, it is from stomach

If it is only coming with spit, it is from gums. There is no need to worry about it. Visit a dentist and get an oral prophylaxis done, and brush your teeth twice daily.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further questions.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
