What Causes Blood In Mouth And Blisters At The Back Of Tongue?

My daughter woke up this morning with some blood in her mouth but seemed her normal self. She fell asleep earlier and woke up with a lot of blood in her mouth she also has blister like spots at the very back of her tongue and is complaining of a sore throat. What could be causing this?

So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to resolve it..

As per your complain blood in mouth along with blisters at the back of tongue and also sore throat can be due to causes like severe throat infection leading to Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis while it can also be due to bleeding originating from upper digestive tract or inflamed sinuses..
You should consult a General Physician and get evaluated and a clinical examination and if needed investigations like upper G.I Endoscopy, sinus
x-ray etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case of infection medications like antibiotics and pain relievers can help..
In case of other causes, it can be treated accordingly..
