What Causes Blood Discharge Along With Saliva?

I m 24 years old and had a tonsillectomy 8 days ago. The scab on my right side fell off a couple of hours ago and I have some slight bleeding. It is similar to bleeding after my wisdom teeth were extracted. I continued to spit out some blood, mixed with saliva for about an hour and a half. should I be worried?

helloo..read thru ur query...i must say that u must not be worried in this case..its bleeding because the clot has been dislodged...u try these things and it will be fine..
1)do not spit very hard(again it may dislodge clot)
2)have lots of cold stuffs like icecream cold water etc
3)dont have hard and hot food stuffs
4)reduce hot food stuffs and chilly stuffs and sharp food items
follow this for a week or so...u will be fine..and still if it persists meet an ent surgeon and get it treated based on the clinical condition.be cool and have cool stuffs..hope ur benefitted something from this reply..have a healthy day!!
