What Causes Blood Clots In Sputum After Coughing?

Doctor from 4-5 days i have small blood clots with my cough coming while i spit only in the mornings.But this is not persistent the whole day.Doctor even i have started doing gym past 15 days now.Could that be the reason?o is it something serious.Please help?

no need to worry but i need further information 1. u r age 1. are u smoker 2.any persistent cough,fever ,night sweats ,wt loss 3.have you taken any blood investigations recently 5.any history of hypertension or currently on any medications if u dont have above symptoms probably its just pharyngeal wall erosion caused due to throat infection its advisable to do chest x-ray pa view and complete blood count if symptoms persists and to consult ent or chest physician. i would be glad to provide answers to any further queries.
