Hello and welcome to HCM,
Hormonal contraceptive postpone the menstrual cycles.
The bleeding experienced is the withdrawal bleeding which is regular if the hormone(s) is taken well in time.
Passage of a blood clot is not of much concern and it does not indicate that menstruation has set in.
You can observe the symptoms.
If bleeding occurs again, then please consult your gynecologist for review of your hormonal preparation and clinical assessment.

Thanks and take care
