What Causes Blood Clot After Removal Of Wisdom Teeth?
Hello. I had bottom wisdom tooth removed 5 days ago. I was eatig and after finishing meal I went to rinse operation spot with warm water to clean hole from food remains that could cause problems. But while rinsing, the blood clot have fallen out. This happend like 3 hours ago and no pain or bleeding. Is this normal on day 5 or should I be worried?
As per your query you had wisdom tooth extraction around 5 days ago and now you have no pain and bleeding after blood clot removal as well which is very normal. After 1 week of extraction bone formation gets started and you will start seeing bare white colored area which is a sign of rapid healing.
Need not to panic about anything, keep maintaining your good oral hygiene with brushing, flossing and warm saline rinses. If you have any pain or difficulty in mouth opening visit dentist near by you.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
