What Causes Blood Blister Like Pimple On The Buttocks Area?

This is a bit embarrassing but I have almost like a blood blister looking pimple on my butt cheek. I ve had pimples before but this one is extreemly sensitive to the touch and is a deep red color like a blood blister. It s this normal? Will it to away? Do I go to the dr? Do I pop it? It hurts very bad and it s in A weird place. Please help.

Hi,

The reddish pimple like lesion on buttock might be cherry angioma. There may be capillaries proliferation producing such lesions. It is a benign condition. It may beassiciated with DM,dyslipidemias or liver diseases. Some time it may occur in normal person. It does not harm, so it may be left untreated. If it is embarassing, you may go for treatment like electrocautery. It is simple OPD procedure done under local anaesthesia. You consult dermatologist to have firm diagnosis and treatment. I hope you got my answer.
