What Causes Blood After Urination?

i am 49, have passed stones before. is it reasonable to believe that I may have another. symptoms are bright red blood when wiping after urination, nausea, blood only present after emptying bladder (that I can see) also, I have severe chronic back problems, had surgery so pain is extreme in my back most of the time, so I cant tell if the pain is related to this problem or not. been bleeding for 2 days.

Hello

Bleeding after urination may be due to many reasons like renal, ureter or urinary bladder calculus, urinary tract infection, tumour etc.
You need proper clinical evaluation and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram, random blood sugar, urine RE/ME,ultrasound of abdomen.CT scan of abdomen can be done if needed.
Further investigations can be done if needed.
Treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports.

Take Care
