What Causes Bloating, Abdominal And Intestinal Discomfort?
I have been having bloating, abdominal and intestinal discomfort for over two weeks. Eating does seem to make it worse but it comes and goes. It does not keep me awake at night. My doctor ordered bloodwork and an ultrasound. Bloodwork was normal and ultrasound showed mildly enlarged liver and fatty areas. My doctor said not to worry about that but to call if my discomfort continues. I plan to do that tomorrow but today the discomfort seems worse after eating especially more towards lower abdomen/colon area. I was just looking to see if I m good to wait and call tomorrow or if I should go to an acute care place or ER today. Seem to have no fever.

Looking at your symptoms it seems that you might be having gastric ulcer
fatty liver doesn't cause such symptoms
in my opinion you should go for upper GI endoscopy for confirmation of diagnosis
have tab pantoprazole with syrup sucralfate for speedy recovery
Avoid fried and junk food
have plenty of fluids
