What Causes Bloated Stomach Post CABG Procedure?

My father 57years old has now undergone a cabg two days before and now is complaining about his bloated abdomen which makes him feel bloated all day restricting the food intake.He is also diabetic and is a smoker.Why is he experiencing a bloated stomach?

I am not sure if this is caused by this operation. He should do gastroscopy do check his stomach if there is GERD, gastritis or hiatal hernia.
