What Causes Blisters On Lower Lip And Tongue?

Hello Symptoms are: Bad cough flu for one week. A few days later had teeth cleaned about one week ago. Body achy, flu-like feeling six days later. Teeth gum area in some places, tender feeling, like if flossed too hard. Yesterday achy body symptom gone, a little cough returned. A blister inside bottom lower lip, and a blister on the side of tongue, gums, between some teeth, spots of blood, dark blood? It looks like a food particle stuck between the teeth. Swallowing, throat a little sore. (Tonsils removed as a child)

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of body aches and flu like symptoms along with tender gums and blisters inside the mouth are all due to viral infection leading to flu like symptoms, Pharyngitis along with Gingivostomatitis..

I would suggest you to consult an Infectious Medicine Specialist or an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Blood tests, throat swab culture etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.

You can be given antiviral medications like Acyclovir, Valacyclovir along with supportive treatment to relieve the symptoms like Gargle with a warm saline solution that is by mixing 1 teaspoon salt in a glass of water and warm it to make a luke warm solution, take a combination of decongestant like Phenylephrine, mucolytic like Ambroxol and anti allergic levocetrizine and another combination of Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen..
Do steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room...
Avoid spicy and chilled foods and take a soft bland diet..
Sip on warm water throughout the day..
Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily..
Use a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
