What Causes Blisters Behind Ears With Thick Discharge?
Hi, I have very small, rash-like bumps on the helix and behind my ear. Originally I believe this to be an allergic reaction to a new conditioner (I ve had a similar rash that WAS an allergic reaction), because I also had larger red bumps that resembled hives on my upper back, across my shoulders to my upper chest. Basically anywhere my hair had been touching while in the shower. However, after changing to a conditioner I know I have no reaction to, the bumps on my back and chest have gone away, but I still have the rash on my ears, and there seems to be some oily goupy discharge (reminds me of earwax) that is new. Could this still be a reaction, or was I wrong in the first place?

Understanding your concern.
Blisters behind your ear along with discharge could be probably ear blisters which can occur after allergic reaction to any chemical agent as you talking about, it could be because of bacterial infection there, it could be otitis externa.
Well need not to worry about it , you should immediately stop the use of conditoner which caused allergic reaction on all over body. Keep area behind the ear clean. Use warm clean towel and put slight pressure over that area for 10-15 min. It will cause blister to soften and a mouth will be formed through which pus will start discharging.
Use levandor oil dipped cotton swab twice or thrice a day. Use antiinflamatory or antianalgesic ointment to prevent further spread of infection or if pain is there. Tea tree oil products are very useful to counteract this infection.
If these blisters keeps on persisting even after 1 week i would suggest you to visit dermalogist and if it start causing pressure on ears, pain around ear then i would suggest you to visit ENT specialist.
