What Causes Bleeding In Gums While Brushing Teeth?

I brushed my teeth today and my gums were bleeding a lot. But it was more of an orange blood than a bright red. I am normally a clean person, but with little ones not sleeping through the night, tend to fall asleep before brushing my teeth. Any ideas about the color?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have infection in gums known as Gingivitis and and it leads to inflammation of gums..

As the inflamed tissue tend to bleed more frequently therefore slight stimulation of gums causes bleeding.

Consult with an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of gum infection you can be advised to get cleaning of teeth known as Scaling done followed by a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller, topical application of gum.pain and antiseptic mouthwash gargles..
Do warm saline gargles.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
