What Causes Bleeding From Vagina While In Bowel Movement?

when I move my bowels there is blood coming from my vagina? I am thinking it is because my stools are hard, may be constipation, but I do not know. I want to know, if, I should go to the emergency room. I am under a lot of stress, prescribed 10mg of frolic for blood pressure, which I take daily, 1x a day. What is your advise

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

This thing might be due to your constipation or there could be possibility of recto-vaginal fistula which must be ruled out.

First you start having light food with high fiber diet like salads(cucumber, cabbage, carrots).

You may take laxatives or purgatives like syrup cremaffin plus in night time to have a effortless bowel evacuation.

In addition, you will also need to undergo complete hemogram,ESR,blood electrolytes, ultrasound of pelvis.

Consult your gynecologist first to rule out any gynec related problem.

Regards,
