i am a female, 23years old and i notice since of late that i bleed during sex the last two times i had sex..... it has happened like a day or two before my menstration.........could this just be my menstration? im curious as i got an infection from my ex a year ago which was supposedly treated. i say that because i sometimes notice a discoloured discharge that sometimes smell.......it goes away after a couple days......
Though the bleeding during this event of sex could be associated with impending menstruation, the fact that you had STI should not be ignored. Such STI has caused you recurrent discoloured discharge also.
Such infection does lead to chronic infection of the cervix (mouth of the uterus) which can cause bleeding after sex.
Please report to your Gynaecologist ASAP. You may require cauterization of the cervix and/or a course of antibiotics.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the bleeding per vagina during coitus then it could be menses only unless proved some trauma (Clinically proved) if this is going to happen at the time of coitus then it could be due to some vaginal lesion and that need to be ruled out, hope this information helps.
