What Causes Bleeding Despite Removed Uterus?

In 1997 I had my uterus removed due to heavy bleeding and they said i had cancer in the uterus, but they removed it all. Then in 2001 they saw what looked to be a cyst on my ovaries, then said it was MAYBE just scare tissue. I m now very post-menapausal and have a muffin top hanging over a large scare from one side of my stomach to the other side. I get yeasty looking stuff in that place. I just gently wiped the area and the soft sterile gauze shopped bright read blood all the way across, it s still bleeding and my stomach/muffin top has been unusally swelled and very uncomfortable. My gyno died of cancer 8 years ago. What is going on, should I call someone? thanks Miss reed

OBGYN, Gynecologic Oncology 's  Response
Hi,

Could you please contact me through video call or phone call. Your symptoms are not clear. There could be ectopic tissue which has to be investigated thoroughly.

Hope it works. Let me know in case of further queries.

Regards,
Dr. Monica Mathur
