What Causes Bleeding And Pain After Periods?

I have the essure, I vehad it for about 6 years. I had my period the first week of June. After that i started having discharge everyday all day and had to wear pads, Well saturday I started bleeding and I stopped Sunday. Well monday I started hurting and bleeding again and last night my stomach was swollen I hurt so bad Ifelt like I was going into labor again. Well i stopped bleeding last night to only start again today, I m hurting and Iwanted to know if it could b my essure?
