What Causes Bleeding And Abdominal Cramps After A Bowel Movement?

Hello, I had a bowel movement today, no constipation but something told me to look after I wiped and there was bright red blood on the tissue and in the toilet. I m 61 so I don t have my cycle anymore. Been feeling a little cramping in my stomach area. I m concerned.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your health.

As per your history and symptoms it can be hemorrhoids or bleeding ulcer on rectal portion too.

You need to visit a general surgeon for proper diagnosis because your age can be some dangerous diseases like rectal CA too. Though there is chronic bleeding and frequent urge to defecation too, which you fortunately don't have.

But to release yourself from stress you need to get your lower abdominal ultrasound scan si that proper diagnosis can be placed.
