OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question. Bleeding after you had your periods after stopping mala-d is usually unrelated to the drug. I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test. If the test is positive, do consult your OBGYN for further manangement.
If the test is negative, then get yourself examined for any lesion in the genital tract which my cause intermenstrual bleeding. If everything is fine, then I would suggest you to use barrier contraception for this cycle and start mala-d of from the day 1 of your next cycle.
Hope this answers your question.
Wishing you good health.
