Dermatologist 's  Response
hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you may have melasma.
-- fungal infection will have itching, since the lesion is non itchy, fungal infection is unlikely.
my treatment advise would be:
1. protect yourself from the sun. apply sunscreen like Sebamed sunscreen of spf 30 to be applied 20 minutes prior going out in Sun.
2. you may apply cosmelite Cream twice a day over the spots for 4-6 weeks.
3. you may also take tab vitamin c 500 mg once a day for photoprotection.
4. these spots will take time to resolve.
5. other treatment options like chemical peeling, lasers, that has to be done only after consulting a dermatologist.
if persistent , consult a dermatologist nearby.
wishing you healthy skin.
thank you
