What Causes Bitter Taste In The Mouth?

I love to drink tea, but starting 2 days ago, I pot of tea I made tasted really bitter, I thought something may be wrong with the tea leaves. So I open a new bag, it still tastes quite bitter, but when I eat other food, it tastes fine. Today, when I made an emergency C drink, it tasted somewhat bitter again, it supposed to taste sweet with orange flavor. Can you tell me why? Should I go check it out.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain bitter taste in mouth can be due to infection in teeth or gums, sinus infection, upper respiratory tract infection, acid reflux, side effects of medicines, allergies, hormonal changes, toxin exposure etc..

In case if it is occurring after taking any specific tea then it can be due to either expired products or some other ingredients in it..

So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get her evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation will be done to rule out the cause and can be treated accordingly..
When the underlying cause will be treated the symptoms will subside on their own..

As of now you can gargle with flavoured antiseptic mouthwash..
Chew flavoured sugarfree chewing gum..
Drink plenty of water and do warm saline gargles..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
