I had a cold in Nov 2014 and it went away after about ten days. However, there was a bad smell in my left nostril accompanied by a bit of pain over my left eye. My doctor gave me an antibiotic but the bad smell (only I can smell it) comes and goes even today with a tiny bit of congestion in the left nostril mostly. Some pressure can be felt on left eye once in a while especially if I m bending down. What could be the cause of this problem? Thanks doctor.
Hi, from history it seems that there might be having chronic left frontal sinus producing smell on this side. This infection might give some pain in left orbital region and congestion in left nostril. Along with antibiotic medicine go for Vicks vapor inhalation. Avoid cold drinks and dusty and humid atmosphere. Ok and take care.
