What Causes Back Pain While On Clarithromycin For Chest Infection?
Hi im 45 years old and female that is on her 4th day of a 7th day prescription of clarithromycin due to a chest infection (crackling in the lungs). I have had bad lower back pains for the last couple of days. I dont know if it is lower back or kidneys but it is very achey. Is this normal?? Regards Rach

chances are low but can b due to side effects of clarithromycin, either you can ask your doctor to reduce the dose or alternative treatment
