What Causes Angina Pain In A Diabetic Patient?
i am taking insulin for diabetes. i am taking lantus at night. 26 units. novolog sliding scale. when i first started 26 units at night it seemed to bring the numbers down lower. now it doesn't see to be. i am having angina pains and nitro is not knocking it. so is the diabetes causing the pain. should insulin be increased

diabetes does not cause pain but it predispose one to heart disease and blockage so it's possible that it's because of heart disease.
So get your bp, cholesterol check and ecg done. I'd needed go for stress test.
You can have tab Sorbitrate 5 mg sublingually whenever there is pain. you should get yourself examined to rule out other causes of pain
