General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

noted history of anal pruritus and brownish mucus discharge after bowel movement. it may be secondary to a fistula-in-ano. perianal abscess, chronic fissure or hemorrhoids must also be ruled-out. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. diagnostics, such as proctoscopy and blood examinations, may be suggested. maintenance of good hygiene and hot-sitz bath every after bowel movement may temporarily alleviated the symptoms. definitive management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
