Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation: Consult a General Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and get per-rectal digital examination as well as ano-proctoscopy. This will give an idea about the possible cause which is further to be confirmed by tests of blood, stool and colonoscopy if indicated. Take multivitamins with Vitamin A and D for good skin health and healing. Antibiotic, metronidazole cover if there is an intestinal infection. Probiotics helps a lot. Local cleaning of the anal area with water at least twice daily followed by keeping the area dry by hair dryer and apply Liquid povidone iodine once only. Further management as per the cause found to get rid of the problems. Avoid hot and humid area.
