What Causes An Itchy And Burning Bump On The Back?

Hi my name is Rose in New Jersey, I have had a bump on my left back side that my daughter noticed a few month ago. I forgot about it until now it started to itch or have like a burning sensation it s pretty annoying I am also over 65 years old. It looks ok meaning no pink color except for the burning sensation . I am in good health and don t take any medication. Can you help? Thanks YYYY

I really appreciate your concern, the most probable cause of such swelling that has the burning sensation is sebaceous cyst, in differential diagnosis it could be lymph node with allergic condition, for burning you can apply the local soothing agent like 'Silversulphadiazine cream" it is better to see the surgeon, hope this information helps.
