What Causes Amenorrhea And Nausea Post Endometrial Ablation?
I had an endometrial ablasion a year and a half ago and have not had a period since. For the last several weeks I ve had pregnancy symptoms. I ve gone from 4-5 hours of sleep to 9-10. My breasts are so sore that my husband touching one last night woke me up. I m hungrier than usual, more emotional, and my cervix is so soft and recessed it s hard to locate. The main symptom which I have experienced to the point of needing additional prenatal support previously, extreme nausea, isn t present. I took a test a week ago and got a negative result. Can the ablasion yield a false negative in early pregnancies or is this more likely premenopausal?
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your lack of menses one year ago since you did endometrial ablasion procedure I am suggesting that you have developed an emdometritis Studies have shown that patients with Endometritis suffer irregular menses as well as infertility In view of this please see a gynecologist specialist for further clinical assessment and meanwhile please do the following test Hormone profile test Ovulation function test Obstetrics scan Concerning your negative Pregnancy test definitely it will be confirmed by ultrasound I am not sure you getting to menopause though this usually start between 45-55 years I hope this helps Regards
