What Causes Allergic Reaction To Fish Food?

years ago i was violently ill after eating fish in mexico. sometimes when I eat fish all these years later i get the same violently ill reaction as I did last night. Someone has said there is a disease that can stay in your gut and be triggered by fish?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have Seafood allergies and it is one of the common causes of allergic reaction there is no disease that is sitting inside your body but it is an allergic reaction that occurs due to individual body that forms antibodies against certain substances and as the irritant enters the body the antibiodies tries to fight with the irritants and it leads to symptoms of allergic reaction like vomiting, loose motions, rashes, itching, swelling etc..

The best way to avoid allergic attack is to avoid the intake of the allergen..
In case if you get an allergy attack you can be given oral as well as injectable anti-allergics and steroids..

Therefore I would suggest you to avoid taking fish and other sea foods as you might get reaction to it too..
I would also suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a he can instil an Immunotherapy to reduce the severity of the allergic attack..
