I am a 60 years old Female. Have been suffering from Acid reflux for like 8 years but have it under control taking Nexium, raising my bed etc A month ago I got a crisis, with burning sensation in my throat, chest pain, coughing attacks in the middle of the night. I saw my gastroenterologist and she doubled the nexium medicine for a month and I had a Barium test of my esophagus and stomach. I got better taking the medicine and the test came ok, then starting 2 weeks ago after I eat my stomach get swollen and it looks like I am few months pregnant. Also something is bothering under my ribs, but I don t have any pain any place. I don t have any problem going to the bathroom ever, have my pap smear every year and I am really worried after this new problem... The Dr saw me again yesterday and couldn t tell me what do I have but ordered me a CT Scam of the pelvis and abdomen....Can this be a gall bladder problem?
