Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a healthy woman of 61 and have head aches around the back of my head. No ear infections since age 6 and no ear audio loss, pain or drainage ever. I had an MRI and was informed I have mild bilateral mastoiditis. Will I need surgery to correct this situation or will local antibiotic injections be used to correct the infection in the bone?
