What Causes Abnormal Uterine Bleeding Despite Taking Regestrone?

I m 29 yrs old .I m continuously bleeding from June 1st it s all most 2 months .I consulted doctor she advised to use rigestrone tablets to stop bleeding.i m using rigestrone and pause xt tablets from 1month but still bleeding is not stopped .plz advise me what to do.all my scan reports are normal.

Hi I think you should get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done. It can be due to some thyroid disorder also. If bleeding is not stopping, you can take higher dose of progesterone. If it doesn't work, you may need to undergo a therapeutic D and C to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
