What Causes Abdominal Swelling After Liposuction?

I had lyposuction and have such extreme abdominal swelling that it s hard tluo breathe. I went to emergency room and they did CT scan--no blockages, fluids or infection. I wear a corset/binder and ice my abdomen frequently. My waist is 8 inches larger than before the surgery. HELP

Thank you for contacting HCM.

How much of fat they have taken out during the procedure ?

if they have taken out more subcutaneous (underneath skin) fat, our skin becomes less tight and hangs down giving the appearance of swelling.

Do you have any pain or fever or chills ? If you have any of these, docs must rule out infections.

have they seen any Gas underneath the skin in the CT scan.
