What Causes Abdominal Pain,vomiting And Loose Motion?

Hi! So yesterday I suddenly started vomiting and feeling really weak. I also had loose motion and stomach ache and shivering every time I vomit. I went to the docs and she told me I had low BP. Somewhere at the 60s... So they put me on a saline and released me. Today my the vomiting has stopped but my stomach feels strange and my stool has this white foam present.... What is the matter?

Hi..

If I would have been your treat physician, I would have diagnosed your condition as Acute Gastroenteritis of infectious origin( Diarrhoea of infectious origin).These are classical symptoms present which occur in bacterial or protozoal diarrhoea. Rather than sending you for further investigations, I would have recommended you to start oral rehydration therapy (ORT) if you can drink fluids then. Simultaneously, I would have prescribed Tablet Ofloxacin(200mg) + Tablet Ornidazole (500mg) 1 tablet twice a day for 5-7 days in order to kill bacteria and protozoa causing diarrhoea. Tablet sporolac (Lactic acid bacilli) twice a day for 3-5 days in order to maintain gut flora. I would have also advised you to eat soft diet such as mashed potato,rice with curd
