What Causes Abdominal Pain,diarrhea And Blood In Stools?

my father is 65 years old. recently he has complained of blood in his stools, more frequent urge to go to the toilet, lower back pain and abdominal pain, diarrhea and sometimes watery, clear liquid. he is having blood tests tomorrow but i was wondering what the possible issues could be? he has recently been taking asprin

Well come to HCM
Thank for choosing HCM, watery diarrhea could be due to several reasons but the most common is dyspepsia and in this case it may not need any treatment but care needs to be taken for dehydration, beside this it could be infection either bacteria, protozoa or both, if the organism load is low and it is the mild symptoms then it may not needs any treatment, Asprin may cause the GI bleeding if it is taken in high dose, Asprin might not be the cause of diarrhea, although most of the diarrheal condition if not severe then it comes around on its own hope this information helps.
