What Causes Abdominal Pain?

My husband has had pain in his abdomen for the past 3 days. He says it feels like pins and needles. When he walks he limps because of tbe pain or when he sits for a long time the pain moves to his back and shoots all the way down to his hamstrings. What could be the cause of this?

Hi.
The typical Pins and needles sensation in the abdomen along with reference to the back and then to the hamstrings can be due to a disc in the spine.
Get an MRI of the Spine to find where is the compression, Consult a Neurosurgeon and get operated .
