What Causes Abdominal Pain With Metallic Taste In Mouth?

Hi, I am a 21 year old female, with no health issues ors problems. I woke up this morning at 6am to very sharp abdominal pain around the belly button area. It is starting to subside (7 hours later) and now I have a very strong metallic taste in my mouth. Any answers?h

Hi.
This is most probably due to gastritis or gastroenteritis which might have given you GERD to cause metallic taste in the mouth.
Do not worry, get an opinion of a Doctor , get a physical examination done , Take a PPI and domperidone and antibiotic with metronidazole if there are signs of gastroenteritis.
If a course does not help completely, take an opinion of a Gastroenterrologist and undergo upper GI and Lower GI endoscopy and ultrasonography.
