What Causes Abdominal Pain While On Ranitidine And Omeprazole?
I am beginning the Harvoni treatment next week and after talking to the representative from the specialty pharmacy I was made aware that there was an interaction between the Harvoni and 2 of the meds I currently take for stomach problems, Ranitidine and Omeprazole. I would like to know if I were to go on a PPI such as Nexium instead would there be an interaction then? If so which is the best medication to choose?

You are very right about the interaction of harvoni with the acid reducing agents.it is better to avoid PPIs(omeprazole and esmoprazole).How ever if bare necessary then can be taken 12 hours apart from harvoni.Take harvoni after full meal.
